The offering of a whole host of automation engines that work behind the scenes are able to crunch predefined scripts that scale up or out dependant upon your requests. You can have full redundancy spreading from one end of the globe to the other, again, all in just a few clicks of a button.
These new ways of working where the new cloud architectures become our enabler for speed and efficiency poses a different light to some businesses. We must ask ourselves "is automation going to replace my job function" as I believe it can quickly remove a workforce that was previously much in demand. Food for thought!
